I was trained at the Kent Institute for Art & Design (K.I.A.D.) in Graphic Design / Illustration and Fine Art.
I was also a student of Dr Henry Campbell FRSA (my father), who himself was a student of the Florentine painter Pietro Annigoni ( whose famous portrait of the young Queen is, in my opinion, still the best.)
I was Head of Art at King's School, Rochester and at that time also continued with my private artistic work doing illustrations for children's programmes at the BBC and numerous books. I was abroad for some years and now reside in wonderful Wales.
My passion is derived from the great masters of the Renaissance. From the sculptures of Michelangelo to the paintings of Caravagio, it has always been the eyes which have captivated me. In my work, I search to emulate the masters in portraying the "windows on the soul".
