I was trained at the Kent Institute for Art & Design (K.I.A.D.) where I studied Graphic Design / Illustration and Fine Art.
I also studied under Dr.Henry Campbell FRSA who himself was a student of the Florentine painter Pietro Annigoni.
I was Head of Art for several years at the King's School Rochester in Kent. During this time I continued with my personal studies and illustrated children's programmes at the BBC, whilst working on both Educational and Fictional books.
I now reside in West Wales where I work as a portrait painter, teacher and illustrator.
My passion for painting is derived from the great masters of the Renaissance. From the sculptures of Michelangelo to the paintings of Caravagio, motivated by their love for the human form and expression in their works.
